Dear Friend,

Thanks for stopping by ... If you can spare a few minutes and you want to get to know a little more about me personally, then feel free read on ... I'll do my best not to bore you too much. ;-)

Where to begin? Well, for starters, I currently reside in the town of White Rock (population 50,000) which is located in the southern-most part of British Columbia, Canada.

I have two amazing children, Ryan (born on October 8, 1999) and Brayden (born on October 26, 2001), and I spend what seems like half my days driving them back and forth to school, swimming, soccer and baseball. We also have two family cats, Bailey and Rudy (22-pounds and counting), and a lonely hamster named Mia.

I was born on December 3, 1966 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. I spent my first 12 years in Montreal, then the family moved to Georgetown, Ontario, Canada - about 45 minutes northwest of Toronto - where I spent my teenage years.

I graduated from high school in 1986 and then headed south on a cross-country running and track and field scholarship at East Tennessee State University. I spent a one and a half years there, then returned home and started my first full-time job.

My early years were spent in the auto and property insurance industry where I held several sales, service and underwriting positions with Simcoe Erie Group and CIBC Insurance (formerly The Personal Insurance Company).

Years later I moved into the product development area at CIBC Insurance where held a quality control and testing position which involved the product launches of several software applications.

As every year passed, I became less and less passionate about my career and really didn't see any end in sight. I began to resent life in the corporate world, including the commute, 3 weeks vacation per year, back-stabbing, corporate red-tape, etc. Needless to say, it was an easy decision to leave when things started to take off online.

Turning Point: 30-Nov-1997

This was the day I bought my first domain name, funnyjokes.com. The idea wasn't to make any money, but instead just to build web site for "fun" and to send a Joke of the Day to a few friends. The mailing list soon grew from a small list of a few friends, to a bigger list including friends of friends, to a huge list in just a matter of months.

Soon thereafter, I discovered ValueClick, a web banner service, which allowed me to display third-party banners on my web sites, and paid me on a per banner impression basis. All I did was place some code on my web pages and presto! Soon I was making an average of $500 every month without lifting a finger.

And, before long, not only was my Joke of the Day mailing list thriving, but now I was also building 8-10 other humor-related mailing lists at the same time, and my total subscribers exploded to over 500,000 readers.

And then I discovered the email advertising goldmine. The next thing I knew, I was selling my high-demand ad space in each of my humor-related newsletters, and earning $2 per 1,000 readers. In other words, I was pocketing over $1000 in easy cash many days every week ... cha-ching!

Milestone: 10-Mar-2000

This was the day I left my full time job. I have been pursuing online marketing full time for a couple of years now, and I am achieving greater wealth online than I ever dreamed possible. Online marketing now makes me more money every month than I used to make in a full year.

In less than two years my "hobby" has grown into a profitable online business with just a handful of web sites.

My online success has come very quickly.

I am a student of "How To" and self-improvement books. I am always looking for that edge to take myself and my projects to the next level. Over the years I have purchased many dozens of online products and services, far too many to name or even remember. I encourage you to be brave enough to purchase quality products that you come across that will enhance your life.

Over the past months I been working on many new projects. And I will be updating this site to keep you informed of all of my projects. If you would like to be kept informed of my upcoming projects please subscribe to my blog. You can also click the My Products link for more details about my existing products and upcoming product launches.

My web sites and online marketing have now put me on pace to earn over six figures per month.

If you're interested in taking your business to the next level, then I invite you to check out all of my products and make sure you subscribe to my blog for frequent updates.

Your friend,

Erik James
